The Hotel Savarine.
Opened in 1926 as a "bachelor's hotel" catering to single men in need of affordable lodging. Notable tenants include Jack Kerouac, who stayed here briefly in 1949. Vacant now for over a decade, it's suffered the usual scrapping and water damage and is little more than an empty shell
